Hope to See YOU in the Neighborhood!

As always, there is a lot of planning and fundraising going on, as we move closer to breaking ground on the Grand Forks Children’s Museum. As the vision becomes reality, the Grand Forks Children’s Museum continues to be an integral part of the community. Until it opens, the museum and our staff will continue to have a strong presence in our community. Over the next few months, you will see the Grand Forks Children’s Museum participate in many local events. We hope that you will stop by and enjoy!

Here are some of the planned activities (subject to change). Take special note of the red asterisk* – this is where the museum could use your volunteer help and support.

Children’s museums play a vital role in fostering curiosity, creativity, education, and community engagement. It is hoped that our outreach programs will have a lasting impact on the neighborhood by providing enriching experiences for young minds. Community outreach is about building connections, fostering empathy, inspiring creativity, fun, and creating positive change. Throughout our community, the Grand Forks Children’s Museum will continue to participate with the hope to create a lasting impact through genuine connections and shared experiences.

Remember, the museum is NOT just a building – the Grand Forks Children’s Museum will be a vibrant hub where community spirit grows and thrives…where families come to spend time together, bond, create social connections and participate in fun-filled educational activities. With the museum’s current participation in festivals, street fairs, collaborations, fundraisers, and art initiatives, we hope to weave the museum into the fabric of our community. Throughout our participation, the Grand Forks Children’s Museum remains committed to nurturing curious minds, celebrating diversity, and being a true pillar of our community.

We hope to see YOU in the neighborhood!
