As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to assist with interactive, educational activities, assist with event set-up & clean up, be a part of community-wide fun, and ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
GFCM Volunteer Program
Youth Volunteer Program
Ages 14-17
This program is offered
for teens who are interested in
making a difference in the
community. Teen volunteers gain
new experiences, complete service
hours, meet new friends, and inspire younger learners! They assist with event set-up/take-down, small group activities, and engage with event participants while working alongside adult volunteers and staff. Flexible scheduling is available.
Ambassador Volunteer Program
Ages 18+
Ambassador volunteers help build excitement for GFCM in the community by serving as activity
leaders, engaging with event participants, assisting with informational booth set-up, takedown, and providing general
support.
Family Volunteer Program
Ages 8-13 (accompanied by parent, guardian or caretaker)
Kids volunteer alongside their parent/guardians (active GFCM
volunteer). They learn the values of
volunteering through serving as a
family, while spending time together.
Volunteer Event Leader
Ages 18+ with 1 Year GFCM Volunteer Experience
Event leaders assist in training
ambassadors and teen volunteers at events. They collaborate with GFCM staff to coordinate event details, serve as a point of contact for volunteers, bring needed supplies, ensure set-up/take-down and report back on the event. One year of prior GFCM volunteering is required.
